Scientist Nambi Narayanan was born on 12 December 1941. Princeton University went to the US in 1969 for a masters program in chemical rocket propulsion. After that, Narayanan Sir made available 400 million pounds of rocket equipment from Scotland for free with the help of a professor at Princeton University.

On 30 November 1994, Narayanan sir was arrested on charges of false espionage. He was tortured for 50 days by the officers of State Police and I.B. After that in 1994 the CBI took over the case.

CBI submitted a closure report in 1996 saying that those evidences were made up against Narayanan sir. There is no evidence as evidence , Clean report of CBI challenged by Kerala Police officer in Kerala High Court

In 1998, the Supreme Court stayed the case, saying that the case was investigated by the CBI, in which no case was made out against Narayanan, therefore ordering the Kerala government that the people involved in this false case , they should be given one lakh.

Narayanan sir's life was completely ruined due to these allegations, his wife's depression caused health problems in his wife and also stalled the progress of ISRO.

In 2018, the Supreme Court awarded Rs 50 lakh compensation to Narayanan sir for such torture and mental torture. And in 2018 honored with the Padma Bhushan Award by the Government of India.
